So, my daughter asks:

“Dad what wrong with Netflix?”

“What do you mean what’s wrong”?

“While I was shopping online with my girlfriend on face time, Netflix stop working?”

“Ok, and what’s your brother doing?”

“C’mon you know, he’s gaming online.”

“Listen, I am about to start a webinar, so I can’t help you right now. Perhaps we’re using too much internet at the same time. Please stop Netflix now and will figure it out later.”

“Ok, should I also ask Mom to quite Netflix...?

Does this sound familiar?

Old habits are dying fast and new ones are shaping how we now interact with the world.

We used to go out to the theatre without thinking twice about how the projector works, spending time with friends in shopping malls was a must to catch up on the latest trends or school gossips and playing at arcades was the best way to play videogames with all your buddies.

OK, these examples may have given up my age, but now take the same reality and superimposed it on today’s business reality and you understand the biggest challenge with digital transformation.

It is no wonder why established businesses of all sizes are struggling to take advantage of new technology to gain a competitive edge. Although, this view may not be shared by all, the biggest challenge of digital transformation is not the technologies but rather about education, culture change and the human factor.

Don’t get me wrong, understanding the benefit and adopting new technologies are unavoidable to stay relevant in any market. On the other hand, understating how to leverage efficiently existing human resources is the real key for sustainable transformation and innovation. We believe that employees, suppliers and customers should be at the center of your transformation in order for you to become a leading disruptor in your market.

Of course, you already know what I just wrote. Now the question is what are you doing about it?

4Rev exists because the journey of Digital Transformation is not an easy one and requires an outside perspective to evaluate internal and external challenges, a framework for guidance and an executable plan as well as education with the art of the possible.
